A Familiar Favorite
You will recognize this eagle as the reverse side of a Washington quarter dollar coin. Originally minted in 1932, the design commemorates the two hundredth anniversary of George Washington’s birthday on February 22, 1732. John Flanagan, a New York sculptor, created the original design from a facsimile of a bust cast in 1786 by Jean Antoine Houdon. One of the lightest rings in our US eagle ring collection, Washington is a comfortable weight and a great fit on any size finger.
