According to Navy veteran David Isenberg of the Cato Institute: “The Worldwide Personal Protective Services, or WPPS, is the way the State Department hires private security firms to protect its personnel.
At the request of members of the WPPS, Mike created this ring for their service in Iraq and Afghanistan. With so many members and so many changes that came in from around the world, they finally approved the this design. The Templar Cross and Shield represent Christianity and the protection offered to a country that has been attacked by threats domestic and international. The Eagle stands for Freedom and the term “Armis Exposcere Pacem” is Latin for “They demand Peace through Force of Arms.” This is a finely-carved midweight ring with a lot of detail. It serves as a symbol to the honor and sacrifices many have given in the performance of their duties around the globe.
